Google Pixel 6 release – the Hype is Real this year
Let’s cut to the chase here! Definitely, this is not the first news article you are reading about the amazingly anticipated Google Pixel 6 and Google Pixel6 Pro release. The New Pixels are about to be released on Oct 19, 10:00 am PST.
The completely reimagined Google phones. Powered by their very own Tensor, Google’s first custom mobile chip, which is supposed to be fast, smart, and adaptive.
At this point we know everything there is know about both Pixel 6 and 6 Pro release, whereas, unlike every year, there is some undercurrent going on in the tech world where people are excited about the Google phones more than they ever were for the Apple iPhone 13 launch or Samsung’s S20-Note-Fold Launch.

What’s so special this year?
The fact that Google is coming with their chip “Google Tensor SOC” might be the cause of the overall excitement. Also, the fact that they are completely re-redesigning the Pixel line this year, whereas the industry’s Biggies (Apple and Samsung) has not come up with anything “whooaaah” factor in the design overhaul.
The combination of Google’s chip their AI+ML capabilities and their Software Camera techniques will surely result in a great experience.
Google Tensor Vs Snapdragon 888
Qualcomm’s next generation of mobile chips is not far away. Although, Google’s tensor will definitely compete and will be compared against the current flagship which is the Snapdragon 888.
We think it will be almost as good as the 888 but, it will lag behind in some areas but seeing their excellence in the Software area the User Experience will not be much affected.

The Camera game
Google has always placed its best bet on the Pixel cameras. even their Pixel A-line phone cameras are taking amazing pictures than the other competitors all year long, with their great pricing (Very budget-friendly! in our opinion).
Firstly, the pixel 6’s 50MP wide-angle camera will be the show stopper in the new camera system for sure. seeing what google was able to do with their age-old 12mp sensors on almost every pixel starting from the first-gen, combing their amazing machine learning technique should get more than wonderful results this time too.
Setting Low Expectation & High Pricing
When it comes to the Pixel lineup, Google has a way of setting low expectations. Although, it seems like they are trying to break that pattern this year. we really hope the Pixel 6 Launch doesn’t disappoint us in ways the other pixels managed to do.
Again, the pricing will be a deciding factor in the whole experience. They will have to charge a premium if they truly want us to consider Pixel 6 as a flagship Android device. Our prediction and the recent leaks(oh! so many of them.) suggest that the smaller Pixel 6 should be in the range of $699-$749 when the high & mighty Pixel 6 Pro can go from $899 to $1099. We may see a few good Black Friday or Pre-order deals this year with the Pixel 6 release.
With the release of the Pixel 6, Let’s hope the best android experience ever in a phone gets back the crown of the Best-Android-Phone-ever once again! Here’s to the Pixel we all have been waiting for.
